2019 Congressional Lyme Series

On October 22, Lyme patients, doctors, members of Congress, Senators, Congressional staff, and representatives from the US Health and Human Services met for an important meeting to discuss the problem of Lyme disease and the need for federal action. Two days later the TICK Act passed the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.

THe TICK ACT: IT PASSED!

On December 20, the President signed the Kay Hagan TICK Act into law as part of the $1.4 Trillion 2020 appropriations bill.
