Make your voice heard.

On Wednesday, April 8, advocates from across the country will join forces for the 2026 Infection-Associated Neuropsychiatric Conditions (IANC) Virtual Advocacy Day to meet with Members of Congress and raise awareness about these conditions, including:

  • PANS/PANDAS
  • Lyme Disease
  • Bartonella

IANC can profoundly impact mental health, neurological function, and daily life for children, adults, and families across the United States.

Policy change starts with advocacy.

Your voice can help drive the research, resources, and medical recognition needed to improve care and outcomes for our communities.

Why Advocacy Matters

Infection-associated neuropsychiatric conditions remain widely underrecognized and underfunded, despite growing scientific evidence linking infections, immune dysfunction, and brain inflammation.

Advocacy Day gives patients, families, clinicians, and researchers the opportunity to:

  • Educate Members of Congress about IANCs and their real-world impact
  • Advocate for federal research funding
  • Increase national awareness and medical recognition
  • Support policies that improve diagnosis, treatment, and care access

When we speak together, policymakers listen.

What to Expect

This is a fully virtual event, making it easy for advocates across the country to participate.

Participants will:

  • Join scheduled virtual meetings with Congressional offices
  • Share personal experiences and advocacy priorities
  • Help educate policymakers about Lyme disease, Bartonella, and PANS/PANDAS
  • Connect with other advocates working to advance change

No prior advocacy experience is required. Training and materials will be provided.

Who Should Participate

We welcome participation from:

  • Patients, caregivers, friends and family members
  • Clinicians and medical professionals
  • Researchers and scientists
  • Advocates and nonprofit leaders
  • Community members who want to make a difference

Every voice helps move this issue forward.
